Press Release:
Stop Press… NIA opens its Annual Conference to external companies

Release Date 13 October 2015

In a move to better involve external organisations in key Insulation industry issues, the National Insulation Association (NIA) has taken the decision to invite for the first time, non-member delegates with a vested interest to its Annual Conference.

The NIA's Annual Conference takes place at the Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire on Thursday 3rd December 2015. The event is attended by around 300 delegates from the insulation industry as well as Energy Suppliers, key stakeholders and Government officials. This makes it the perfect place to discuss current issues affecting the sector as well as learn about and discuss plans and strategies for the year ahead. The event also hosts a breakout exhibition area of associated businesses showcasing their products and services.

Traditionally the event has been a closed shop of NIA insulation members and key external guests, but the NIA has recognised that other sector colleagues could benefit from attending this key industry event.

Bev Coombe, Membership & Communications Manager at the NIA commented: "We recognise that there are external businesses that have a vested interest in in the insulation industry of today such as Housing associations, procurement experts, building contractors & house builders as well as service providers such as scaffolding contractors and safety equipment suppliers.

"In opening a limited number of places to non NIA members, we believe that both they, and our members will gain valued insight and contacts into the entire sector."

Tickets to the conference are priced at £125 plus VAT per delegate and include lunch and refreshment breaks. There are only a limited supply of these highly sought after non-member places available so book early to avoid disappointment. To request a delegate place or reserve one of the remaining exhibition stands please contact
