Press Release:
NIA welcomes energy efficiency funding for Higher Education establishments

Release Date 12 August 2015

The National Insulation Association (NIA) welcomes the recent news of the £29 million now available for energy efficiency projects through the Revolving Green Fund for universities.

Neil Marshall Chief executive of the NIA commentated: "This fund for energy efficiency is good news and will help higher education premises to save money and carbon from their current buildings. We are highlighting why our members are the preferred choice for the education sector looking for support in the design and delivery of their upcoming refurbishment and new build projects."

Marshall continued: "NIA members have considerable experience of working with commercial buildings and those of a non-standard construction and have worked with local authorities, energy suppliers, funders, builders and other specifiers in delivering high quality energy efficient schemes. With around 200 members including the leading manufacturers/system suppliers and installers of cavity wall insulation, solid wall insulation (both external and internal), loft/roof insulation and draught proofing the NIA are able to offer a one stop shop."
