Programme announced for NIA Annual Conference

The full programme for the National Insulation Association’s (NIA) Conference 2014 has now been released with the conference taking place at the Hinckley Island Hotel on Thursday 4th December 2014.

The varied programme includes a panel of MPs to give their political perspective, Headline sponsors address, policy updates from DECC and DCLG and guest speakers discussing future opportunities.

Neil Marshall, Chief Executive of the NIA commented: “The theme of this year’s conference is Building a Sustainable Future for the Industry and we have a strong lineup of external speakers who will be talking about opportunities in the new build, retrofit and commercial markets. This year’s event will feature a panel of leading politicians including; Natalie Bennett, Leader of the Green Party, Jonathan Reynolds MP, Labour Shadow Minister Energy and Climate Change and Amber Rudd MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department of Energy and Climate Change. In addition, our headline sponsor, Essex Insulation, will be addressing the conference to highlight its diverse portfolio and multi measure approach in the energy efficiency market.

The NIA Annual Conference is now firmly regarded as a leading insulation industry event with around 300 delegates expected to attend.
