How to Become a Member
The National Insulation Association Membership is split into the following categories:
Installer - These members assess and install cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation, internal wall insulation, loft insulation, draught proofing and other innovative solutions.
Associate - These members are interested and involved within the insulation Industry, they work directly with installers and manufacturers to create a better environment and deliver energy efficiency programmes.
Material Supplier/System Designer - These members manufacture and supply approved insulation material.
Affiliate - This category is open to organisations such as Charities, Trade Associations, Component Suppliers, Membership Providers, Suppliers to the industry and companies involved in environmental services or the construction industry who are not installers or manufacturers of insulation products.

Membership Policy and Criteria
All new members must have been trading for a period in excess of 12 months (except for Affiliate Members); they must also be able to supply the relevant company certificates for Employer's and Public Liability Insurance (a minimum requirement of £3m). Further details of financial and reference records that will be required at the time of application are detailed on the application. All new members must be approved by the appropriate standard required by the Association.
