NIA launches new informative consumer website
The National Insulation Association (NIA) has launched a new consumer website at www.nia-uk.org
The NIA website, which regularly receives 20,000 page views per month, is designed to provide consumers with the latest information and advice on the insulation measures available for their homes and promote and signpost them to NIA installer members.
The new consumer website includes various features explaining the benefits of insulation, a very handy postcode locator (visible on every page) which lists NIA approved local installers plus a handy filter for identifying Green Deal installers and specific insulation measures. It also incorporates a useful Understanding Insulation section explaining the different solutions available and the current Government schemes under which most insulation measures are promoted in addition to FAQ's and case studies.
The NIA has also recently launched a new @NIAConsumer twitter account which runs in conjunction with the consumer website and gives advice and the latest insulation information.
Neil Marshall, Chief Executive of the NIA commented: "We believe that the new website offers both consumers and industry excellent information and advice on a user friendly multi-platform experience and our membership will hopefully benefit from the changes too. The site also includes latest industry news, a join the NIA section and a live twitter feed; the new site is also compatible with tablets and smart phones as well as personal computers."
